Pelvis Stability

  1. Determine YZ values of left and right hip joint centers at timepoint of max knee flexion
  2. Calculate the difference in Y and Z between left and right hip joint centers
  3. Calculate pelvic drop angle by inverse tangent of difference in Z over difference in Y
  4. Metric calculated for Step Down, Triple Jump, Deceleration, Cut.
Score Scoring Definition Significance
0 Pelvic Drop is greater than 10 degrees Significant Pelvic Drop
1 Pelvic Drop is greater than 5 degrees Mild Pelvic Drop
2 Pelvic Drop is less than 5 degrees No Pelvic Drop
