Setup, Preparation, and Software Basics

Setup Make sure your Sony RX0 2 cameras and ready for use and S3D Data Acquistion tool is downloaded.

Preparation

• Open and start XAMPP and Apache on your computer. Verify they are running properly before proceeding.
• Open the S3D desktop Icon and turn on your Sony camera.
• It's recommended to format the memory card in your cameras before starting recordings. This ensures optimal performance.

S3D Config file setup

• Athlete Config File: Use this file to add or edit athletes participating in your recordings
• Users Config File: This file allows you to add or edit exercises and define their desired clip length

API Health Check

• Before starting a recording session, verify the API is running. Look for a green health check icon within the S3D software to confirm functionality. This ensures captured videos can be reorganized after recording.
