Trunk Stability

  1. Determine YZ values of pelvis and spine-high joint center values at timepoint of max knee flexion
  2. Calculate the difference in Y and Z between pelvis and spine-high joint centers
  3. Calculate trunk lean angle by inverse tangent of difference in Y over difference in Z
  4. Metric calculated for Step Down, Lateral Shuffle, Triple Jump, Deceleration, Cut.
  • If Trunk Lean is greater than 10 degrees, score is 0.
  • If Trunk Lean is less than 10 degrees & greater than 6 degrees, score is 1.
  • If Trunk Lean is less than 6 degrees, score is 2.
